Hi Dave,
She is a Selway Fisher 14ft cat boat set up at this stage as a motor boat with 5hp outboard. I have redesigned the sail plan as a cat ketch with reduced area as Stage 2. (due to my age and condition).
The strip plank wonder has been launched, thanks to Bote Cote, Purbond, and Aquacote finishes except the clear areas which are tung oil.
The ribs were laminated from left over verandah decking (silver top ash), over the moulds Herrishoff style and glued with BoteCote.
Strip planking is hoop pine glued with Purbond. The rest is typical ply construction.
